This month’s magnum is direct from the cellars of Domaine de la Charbonnière and has perfect provenance. Case of the Month
For this month’s case, we are keeping it classic, with wines selected for Thanksgiving and the holiday season. First, we have Benjamin Leroux’s classic Burgundy bottling from Auxey-Duresses, one of our favorite Chardonnays for drinking young. Also included is the Failla bottling from Occidental Ridge, with an incredible richness and texture that will hold up to your roast turkey and even a beef tenderloin.

A focus on Saint-Estèphe
This most northerly of the Médoc communes, Saint-Estèphe is home for deeply-colored, tannic and structured wines. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot rule here, with Petit Verdot adding freshness and depth to the wines especially in riper years.
To complement this week’s wine special, we’ll be pulling corks this Saturday from 10am to 5pm at the warehouse on some well-known properties including some excellent value ‘second label’ wines. We hope to see you then!
