Vega Sicilia Pintia 2019

In 1996 Bodegas Pintia was purchased by the Álvarez family, owners of the prestigious Vega Sicilia winery in Ribera del Duero. Their goal was to produce a unique style of Tempranillo from the Toro region, in the wild and remote Duero valley, just above Portugal. This region is known for its extreme heat and massive diurnal temperature ranges, which allows PIntia to develop opulent fruit and ripe tannins, whilst retaining freshness due to the cool Toro evenings.

Pintia is a consistent top seller and customer favorite at Two Rock, as it delivers so much complexity and pleasure at a fraction of the price of similar style wines. You are never disappointed with any wine produced by Vega Sicilia and PIntia is at the top of its class.

Full-bodied, mineral and broad on the palate with a stony feel, though not heavy at all. A really elegant, nuanced and extremely poised Pintia that you can enjoy now and for the next decade.
