Schiopetto’s flagship red — a serious, age-worthy blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc from the red clay soils of Collio. Dark fruit, tobacco, cedar and iron with a firm, structured tannin frame that is still very much in development. The 2016 vintage is outstanding across northern Italy — this will drink beautifully for another decade.
