Saint Prefert Stella Ducit Blanc 2023

Isabel Ferrando has taken her Saint Préfert estate to the highest level since purchasing the property in 2002, producing a range of wines at all quality levels with sensational levels of fruit, beautiful purity, and an abundance of Provençal charm. Her ‘Stella Ducit’ is made exclusively from young vine Clairette grapes and shows the typical nutty richness and saline minerality typical of the limestone vineyards that dominate the southern Rhône vineyards, all nicely framed by vibrant acidity leaving the wine fresh and focused. 

Many are quick to overlook the whites of the southern Rhône but for those looking to try something different other than their usual go-to, ‘Stella Ducit’ makes a refreshing alternative to the Chardonnays of Chablis and Sancerre’s Sauvignon Blanc.
