Louis Barruol’s family has made wine at Chateau de Saint Cosme in Gigondas since 1570. The Condrieu is pure Viognier from steep granite terraces above the northern Rhone. Apricot, honeysuckle and ginger, opulent but precise. One of the great white grapes on its home ground.
