Patrick Piuze Chablis Terroir de Courgis 2023

Montreal-born Patrick Piuze established his own label in Chablis in 2008 having worked for the likes of Leflaive, Jean-Marc Brocard and Jean-Marie Guffens. Patrick works with purchased fruit, and his great relationships with the growers over the past twenty years has allowed him access to choice parcels in all of the great sites. He is a terroir obsessive, making no fewer than eight different villages-level wines and tries to express their individual character with vinification entirely in stainless steel. 

His terroir de Courgis is sourced from the commune of the same name, just south of Chablis itself; medium-bodied with delicate green apple, citrus peel, spring flowers and honeysuckle. Bright and focused on the palate with a pronounced mineral edge and his trademark taut acidity.
