November 2025 Case of the Month
Original price was: $360.00.$305.00Current price is: $305.00.
For this month’s case, we are keeping it classic, with wines selected for Thanksgiving and the holiday season. First, we have Benjamin Leroux’s classic Burgundy bottling from Auxey-Duresses. This is always one of our favorite Chardonnays for drinking young, with perfect balance and a textbook flinty minerality. Also included is the Failla bottling from Occidental Ridge – a classic Sonoma Coast vineyard bordering the RRV, which gives it an incredible richness and texture that will hold up to your roast turkey and even a beef tenderloin.
Included within:
Benjamin Leroux Auxey-Duresses 2022 x 3 bottles
Leroux’s terrific Auxey-Duresses has always been one of the range’s great-value wines, drinking superbly young and aging very well, too. The fruit comes from three terroirs—Les Hautés, La Macabrée and Les Boutonniers—all abutting Meursault’s Les Vireuils Dessous and Les Meix Chavaux. The oldest vines date back to 1946. You find the punchy, vibrant freshness and minerality of the place woven through the creamy, generous core of the vintage.
Failla ‘Occidental Ridge’ Pinot Noir 2022 x 3 bottles
Decanter 95 points – A brooding character is the throughline in the Failla house style, and the Occidental Ridge Pinot Noir shows dark, smoky aromas of frankincense, singed violets, and earthen elements of sous bois, rose hips, and salty sea air. The palate is textured and spiced with spicy blood orange, smoky soy, hoisin sauces, black tea, and an intense minerality that lifts the finish.
