Michel Redde Pouilly-Fume ‘Petit F’ 2023 – 10% WOTW Discount

After many years of sourcing wines from the Loire Valley, we still feel that Sauvignon Blanc from Pouilly-Fumé doesn’t get the same attention as its more attractive neighbor Sancerre. Perhaps it’s easier to roll off the tongue or because of the racy, lively and delicate flavors that Sancerre is known to produce but Pouilly-Fumé is equally adept at producing wines with similar characteristics. Michel Redde’s Petit F 2023 is the estate’s entry-level Pouilly-Fumé sourced from his younger vines. It’s super fresh and lively with an attractive mineral edge, pronounced green apple, passion fruit, lime, and that trademark hint of gooseberry and a light smoky flintiness.
