The Marquis d’Angerville estate helped invent domaine bottling in the 1920s and remains Volnay’s reference, farmed biodynamically. The Bourgogne Rouge comes from parcels just outside the village boundary, made with the same hands. Red cherry, rose and fine chalky tannin. The most affordable way into one of Burgundy’s great houses.
