Domaine Saint Cyr La Galoche Beaujolais Blanc 2025

At the southern edge of Beaujolais, the granite that defines the crus gives way to clay and limestone. This is Les Pierres Dorées, the golden stones, where the Saint-Cyr family has made wine for four generations. Raphaël Saint-Cyr took over in 2008 and converted the estate to organic farming, certified in 2012, making it one of the largest organic domaines in the region.

La Galoche is pure Chardonnay from 30-year-old vines: direct press, native yeast, six months in stainless steel. The 2025 is fresh and saline, all white peach, lemon pith, and wet stone. Serve it cold alongside grilled fish, oysters, or anything that comes off the water.
