After an impromptu tasting back in 2015, Delaporte has become an integral part of our Loire Valley portfolio. Matthieu Delaporte’s focus on organic viticulture stands at odds with his father’s use of pesticides and herbicides in the 1970s and 80s. Now the soils are full of life, the vines are healthy, and the resulting wines get better and better every year. Matthieu’s decisions and hard work in the vineyards are the driving force behind this quality Sancerre.
