December 2025 Case of the Month

Original price was: $390.00.Current price is: $331.50.

With Christmas almost upon us, we thought we’d take the stress out of choosing the perfect case of wine to get you through the holiday season. Whether you’re entertaining at home or looking to offer something special for a friend or relative, we’re confident that this selection will enhance your festive experience.

The case includes:

Dhondt-Grellet Les Terres Fines Blanc de Blancs

Adrien Dhondt is undoubtedly one of the rising talents in Champagne. His dedication to experimentation in both the vineyard and cellar and his willingness to innovate make his wines some of the most exciting expressions of true grower Champagne that we have discovered in recent years. Adrien isn’t scared of using barrels during fermentation, which give his wines a richness to offset the beautiful minerality that defines his wines.

Domaine Fevre Chablis Grand Cru ‘Les Preuses’ 2020

Domaine Fevre’s southwest aspect of this Grand Cru gives ‘Les Preuses’ a wonderfully complex and intense Chablis with laser precision and minerality. It’s a generous and full-bodied style with a perfect integration of mineral acidity with well-balanced fruit and perfect for those seeking a pure and refined style of Chardonnay.

Hamilton-Russell Vineyards Chardonnay 2022

Hamilton Russell’s incredibly successful Burgundian-style wines have set the standard of quality and class for South African wine over the past 25 years. Located in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley region, the estate occupies one of the most southern in Africa and with vineyards only a few kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean, it provides ideal conditions to produce an understated style of Chardonnay that’s elegant, focused and beautifully textured.

Les Pagodes de Cos Saint-Estèphe 2015

The second wine from arguably Saint Estephe’s leading Château Cos d’Estournel, Les Pagodes de Cos is from younger vines but made with the same attention to detail as their flagship wine. From the plush 2015 vintage, 18 months maturation in new French oak subtly enhances aromas and flavors to produce a very pliant, supple and approachable wine – in other words, everything a second wine should be. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet France and Petit Verdot.

Domaine Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2020

Faiveley has been part of Burgundy’s DNA for nearly 200 years, and this old-vine Gevrey-Chambertin is a reminder of why they’re still at the top of their game. Sourced from around 10 hectares of vines, many planted back in the mid-20th century, it’s a blend of plots that gives a classic snapshot of Gevrey’s rugged, deep-fruited charm. The 2020 vintage produced an expressive and well-defined Pinot Noir with fine-grained tannins and core of plush, vibrant black fruit that finishes smooth and long.

“Faiveley’s wines are… supremely clean and elegant: definitive examples of Pinot Noir… above all they have richness and breed, the thumbprint of a master winemaker.” Clive Coates M.W.

Niepoort Vintage Port 2017

Arguably the greatest vintage since 1945 – Concentrated and intense, wonderfully balanced, seductive, persistent, 2017 Niepoort is simply astonishing. Dirk’s ports are characterised by their balance, and this is a supreme example of a wine in which powerful tannins and substantial alcohol are made to seem entirely effortless by freshness and lift. The very floral aromatics are entirely typical of the house style, and Dirk is convinced his 2017 is the best port he has ever made, the best Niepoort, possibly, since his grandfather’s generation, and the legendary 1945. Decant before serving to aerate and enjoy over the holidays.
