Chateau La Pointe Pomerol 2015

There is no doubt that most first wines from Bordeaux need time to develop the magic that makes them so unique, and we are starting to see that transition in some of the 2015’s which now have close to 8 years in bottle. La Pointe is on its way there. The 2015 vintage across the board is so accessible right now, with silky tannins and beautiful fruit, that make the vintage a pleasure to drink. La Pointe encaptures all the pleasure of the vintage with some secondary development or truffles and forest floor to enhance its complexity.

As always, we try our best to secure the best drinking vintages, but 2015 is being quickly bought up and this will be the last parcel of the wine we can find at this price.

Even if it doesn’t make the cut for your Christmas table this year, we urge you to buy a case and store it away. You won’t be disappointed as it evolves in the coming years.
