Pibarnon sits at 300m elevation in Bandol — the highest vineyards in the appellation, where limestone soils and cool air produce Mourvèdre of exceptional freshness and longevity. The 2020 is a great Bandol vintage: dark fruit, garrigue, iron and the characteristic mineral austerity of Pibarnon’s terroir, with a structured, concentrated palate built for 10-20 years of development. One of Provence’s most serious reds.
