Description
Rabajà is widely considered Barbaresco’s greatest cru, and Bruno Rocca’s Riserva from this site is a
benchmark wine. The 2015 — a warm, generous vintage — shows tremendous depth: concentrated dark
cherry, dried rose, tobacco, iron and a long, structured palate with the fine-grained tannins that great
Nebbiolo delivers at its peak. A wine for serious collectors.
93 points , Vinous – “The 2015 Barbaresco Riserva Rabajà is endowed with notable breadth, power and textural resonance, but very much in the mid-weight style that defines the Bruno Rocca wines today. Smoke, rose petal, tar, herb and earthy notes add intrigue in this very young but yet highly expressive Barbaresco. In 2015, the Riserva is a blend of two separate parcels, whereas the 2013 and 2014 were both made from a single parcel.”
