Description
Currà is one of Bruno Rocca’s two flagship Barbaresco crus — a south-facing slope in Neive with clay-
limestone soils that gives wines of exceptional concentration and aromatic complexity. The 2015 vintage
produced Barbaresco of great ripeness and depth, and this Riserva from one of the appellation’s most
skilled families is now at peak: dried cherry, rose, tobacco and licorice with silky, integrated tannins.
Outstanding.
92 points, Vinous – “Soft contours, mid-weight structure and striking purity of fruit are some of the signatures in the 2015 Barbaresco Riserva Currà. A host of bright, floral-infused aromatics add to the wine’s considerable sexiness. A wine of total allure and seduction, the 2015 is likely to drink well with minimal cellaring once it its released. It is yet another glorious wine from the Rocca family.”
