Niepoort Dócil Loureiro Vinho Verde 2025

Dirk Niepoort is the fifth generation of a family firm that’s been independent since 1842. Dócil is his Loureiro from the Lima Valley, the grape’s traditional home in Vinho Verde, grown on granite soils and farmed organically.

Whole bunches are pressed gently, the juice ferments cool on wild yeasts in stainless steel, then spends 5 months on its lees. No oak, no malolactic. What you get is Loureiro in sharp focus: lime, green apple, white flowers, a saline finish with the faintest prickle of spritz. Light, bright and built for a Bermuda summer.
