Since his 15 year tenure as régisseur and winemaker at Comte Armand, Benjamin Leroux has risen through the ranks of Burgundy producers at a spectacular rate. He created his own label in 2007 his is now amongst an elite band of specialist micro-négociants, using his network of contacts to source only the best fruit and advise on vineyard practices to make sure that the raw material is of the highest quality.

For his Bourgogne Blanc, Ben skillfully blends fruit from mostly Meursault, and this shows, with a textured and rounded feel, along with Chardonnay from higher altitude vineyards of the Hautes-Côte de Beaune which adds precision and finesse to produce a wine of unbeatable value and drinkability. No new oak here, just large, old oak fermenting vessels and lees aging that help it remarkably fresh and elegant.
