Studio by Miraval Rose 2025
Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Tibouren, an old Provençal variety grown near the Mediterranean for 2,000 years. The grapes are direct pressed and raised in stainless steel to keep everything fresh and precise.
In the glass: pale pink, wild strawberry, pink grapefruit and a saline note on the finish that comes from vineyards close to the sea.

Magnum of the Month
Château Camensac 2005, in magnum. A Haut-Médoc from one of Bordeaux’s great vintages, now comfortably mature. Dark plum, blackcurrant, and cedar on the nose, with cigar box, dried herbs, and the gravelly earth that marks the appellation.
In magnum, the wine ages more slowly, so this bottle is more complete and more harmonious than the standard format, with years still ahead of it. The one to open for a slow dinner and something off the grill.

Domaine Matrot
This Saturday we’re pouring three 2023s from Domaine Matrot, a family estate in Meursault since 1835.
The lineup runs from the Bourgogne Chardonnay, through the rare Meursault Rouge, to the Meursault ‘Les Chevalières’, tense and mineral, from a stony parcel at the northern end of the village. If you want to understand why Meursault matters, that’s the bottle.
Three wines, one family, a clear view of how the village shifts from parcel to parcel. Join us at the shop this Saturday.
